A workplace adjustment, also known as a reasonable adjustment, is a change to work process, practice, procedure or environment.
Workplace adjustments accommodate the needs of a person with disability and will assist them in working comfortably and productively.聽Examples include:
- Assistive technology or software
- Flexible work arrangements
- Modifying communication systems or information provision
- Modified workstations
Adjustments can be permanent or temporary depending on the nature of the disability and the needs of the individual.聽
