国民彩票 Disability Innovation Institute

A world-first initiative, harnessing interdisciplinary research with people with disability to seek鈥痠nnovative solutions.

Launched in 2017,鈥痶he Institute's鈥痸ision is to improve and transform the lives of people with a disability. Working closely with people with disabilities and industry experts, the Institute provides a platform to combine disability studies with science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM聽) and humanities and social sciences (HASS) research to design accessible and inclusive working, living and learning environments, generate innovative technologies and create inclusive law, policy, services, markets and communities.

Disability Inclusion Action Plan

One of the five initiatives outlined by the Strategy 2025 is to implement 国民彩票鈥檚 Disability Action Plan (DIAP). This plan aims to make the learning, working and teaching experience welcome and inclusive for people of all abilities.

Build knowledge, skills and tools to advance disability confidence in the workplace and classroom, and include all stakeholders with disability. These workshops develop capacity to adjust behaviours and have critical conversations, taking an intersectional approach to accessibility at 国民彩票.

Disability course

Work enables people with disability to achieve financial independence, improve their social skills, develop friendships and improve their mental health. This course provides improved knowledge on the many types of disability and best practices to foster inclusion of disability in the workplace.
