¹úÃñ²ÊƱ

¹úÃñ²ÊƱ has changed the way we issue offers

¹úÃñ²ÊƱ has recently made changes in our approach to admissions offers to help streamline the admissions process.

Offers to study at ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Sydney in 2025 and 2026 will be made in specific offer rounds, with the following key changes applied:Ìý

  • Applications will be prioritised according to academic merit and subject to program availabilityÌý
  • Offer deferrals will no longer be automatically approvedÌýÌý
  • Offer rounds have been introducedÌý Ìý
  • Issued offers will have aÌýspecified acceptance periodÌýÌý
  • Change of program requests will only be considered with a new applicationÌý

¹úÃñ²ÊƱ has also made updates and improvements to our admission processes:
  • We nowÌýaccept predicted gradesÌýfor several qualifications and also allow students in approved external English language programs to request an extension of their offer deadline until after their course is finished.ÌýÌý
  • For Term 3, 2025,Ìýstudents meeting entry requirements with SAT, AP, or ACT results can receive full or conditional offersÌýbefore final high school results, supporting timely visa applications.Ìý
  • ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ has made the deferral process more flexible, allowing students to request deferrals via Accept Online (for full offers) or Ask Admissions (conditional offers), with deferrals considered case-by-case.

More details on the above admission process improvements can be found in ourÌýFAQsÌýat the bottom of the page.

2025 Applications

¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Sydney remains open for applications from onshore international students in Term 2, 2025 and all international students in Term 3, 2025 viaÌý.

Please note that some programs may be nearing to full capacity and as such may not be included in every offer round. Programs that have reached capacity will also not be listed on Apply Online as available for specific terms. Offers will be issued via weekly rounds that will alternate between undergraduate and postgraduate offers. To be eligible for a round, applicants must submit aÌýcompleteÌýapplication with all relevant documentation by the associated completed application date.Ìý

Important update on Australian Student Visa processing time

The Australian Government has recently changed its approach to processing student visas for those students intending to study at higher educational, vocational and training institutions. As a result, we expect that there may be longer visa processing times for students submitting visa applications to study at ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Sydney. Ìý

To avoid delays on your study plan, we encourage you to submit your visa application to the Australian Government as soon as you receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) from us.

      • 8406 Master of Finance

Please note, this list will be updated regularly as programs reach their capacity.Ìý

      Ìý

    • ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ will be prioritising releasing full offers during our offer rounds.

To be considered for a full offer outstanding documentation must be submitted by the associated completed application dateÌý

    • We have altered our policy around predicted grades to widen the qualifications that we accept and have improved the process of assessment. ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ now accepts predicted grades for full offers for the following qualifications:

      • International Baccalaureate (IB)
      • A-Levels
      • Indian CBSE
      • Singapore A-levels
      • NCUK
      • South African NSC

Students who are completing an approved external English language program can request an extension of their offer deadline until their course is finished.

      Key considerations:
      • A buffer of 2 points above the standard entry requirement is required for a full offer based on predicted grades. Offers will only be issued where this is met or exceeded and all other requirements have been met.
      • Students must provide final results when available, and no later than the ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ term commencement date.
      • If final results do not meet program entry requirements, students may need to:
        • transfer to a program with lower requirements, or
        • explore pathway options such as ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ College Diplomas, or
        • seek study alternatives outside ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ
      Required documentation:

Predicted grades for Term 3, 2025 must be provided on a letter from the school that is issued on or after November 2024 and that:

      • is printed on official school letterhead
      • bears the official school seal
      • is signed by the Registrar, Principal, or School Counsellor
      • includes the student’s name and date of birth
      • states the expected graduation date

      Ìý

    • For Term 3, 2025, students who meet program entry requirements based on their SAT, AP, or ACT results are now eligible to receive a full or conditional on English offer ahead of their final high school result and proof of and completion of high school studies. Results and proof of high school completion will be required no later than the ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ term commencement date and must be submitted as soon as they become available. This change aims to support students in lodging timely visa applications and re-establishes opportunity for your undergraduate students in Term 3, 2025.

Additional requirement – enrolment or expected graduation letter

In addition to sharing SAT/AP/ACT results with ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ via the College Board portal, students must submit a letter from their school meeting the following minimum criteria:

      • printed on official school letterhead
      • bears the official seal of the school
      • includes the student’s full name and date of birth
      • specifies the current stage of study (e.g., Year 11/12)
      • states the expected graduation date
      • specifies the name of the final award or test (e.g., US High School Diploma, Chinese High School Graduation Certificate, Indonesian SMA Certificate)
      Eligibility

This assessment policy is only available for students completing Year 12 high school qualifications recognised by ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ for direct entry. It excludes:

      • post-secondary diplomas
      • foundation programs
      • unregistered/informal home-schooling up to Year 12
      • GEDi
      • Singapore polytechnics
      • Canadian OSSD delivered online
      • any other bridging or access program

      • Students with full offers can now request a deferral viaÌý.

    • If you require an English package and would like to defer, you will need to request a deferred offer from ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ. Please note, deferral requests are not guaranteed to be approved.Ìý
