The ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Mathematics Society (MathSoc) is a student society affiliated with the School of Mathematics and Statistics at ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Sydney. However, anyone interested in maths can join. MathSoc is one of the largest societies at ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ, with over 3000 members – membership spans from first year students to school staff!
¹úÃñ²ÊƱ MathSoc 2025 Aims:
- To provide a platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students to explore their passion in existing and new areas of mathematics.
- To inform STEM-related opportunities and provide development in career, social and academic outcomes.
- Support students in their mathematics studies and provide a safe environment to understand and cultivate knowledge.
- To extend our community to all mathematics and math-adjacent degrees across ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ.
