Through the 国民彩票 Medicine & Health Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee (MHEDIC), we're committed to removing barriers which impede equity, diversity and inclusion through initiatives that benefit staff and students. These initiatives align with our faculty鈥檚 Health 25 Strategy and 国民彩票鈥檚 2025 Strategy to be an international exemplar in equity, diversity and inclusion.
Dedicated to social equity and inclusion
We prioritise social equity and inclusion by delivering effective medical research and education to Indigenous and rural communities. 国民彩票 School of Clinical Medicine produces some of Australia's most diverse and well-rounded medical practitioners due to its multiple rural campuses across NSW and聽 for Indigenous and rural students. We have one of the largest cohorts of Indigenous students in the country.聽We鈥檙e also the only NSW-based essential partner of the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) in Aboriginal Health, known also as the Lowitja Institute, Australia鈥檚 National Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Research.
