Career Discovery Mentoring Program 

Mentoring has the transformative power to shape a student’s life for the better and this is your chance to make further impact in a student’s journey to employment. Mentors have a rewarding opportunity to further develop skills, reflect on career progression, achievements, and engage with the ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ community.  

Program details 

Dates: Term 1: 3 March - 9 April. Application deadline is 21 February. 

Commitment: 5 hours of your time over 6 weeks. 

Delivery: Flexible, online or in-person. 

Eligibility requirements: Minimum 2 years of professional experience. 

Recognition: Receive certification in the form of a ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ-certified digital badge which can be added to your LinkedIn profile. 

Year 10 Gateway Program 

Help Year 10 students from low-socioeconomic backgrounds and schools learn about the benefits of attending university by becoming a Gateway mentor.

You’ll help high school students explore university life by offering insights into ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ degree options and career pathways. By becoming a Gateway mentor, you play a vital role in guiding students towards early admission to ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ through the .

Program details 

Dates: Numerous dates available between 24 Feb 2025 – 4 April 2025. This program runs once a year.

Commitment: Two hours on one day. Participants can choose to volunteer for 1 or more days, depending on your preference.

Delivery: In-person, ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Kensington campus.

Eligibility requirements: Minimum two years of professional experience.

³Ò³Ü¾±»å±ðÌý¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Business School students as they refine their career goals and take the next step in their professional journey.

This 8-week program brings together Business and AGSM alumni with students in small 1:3 group settings, offering career-focused streams like Financial Services, Consulting, Technology, and Women in Business.

Program details 

Dates: Term 2: 2 June to 25 July 2025. Applications open early-April 2025.

Commitment: Minimum of 5 hours with one mentee over the course of 8 weeks. 

Delivery: Flexible; online or in-person.

Eligibility requirements: Mentors must be ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Business School and/or AGSM graduates must have at least five years of professional business experience.
