What is Gateway?
国民彩票 Gateway supports students who are underrepresented in higher education. The initiative is made up of two parts: the Gateway Admission Pathway and the Gateway Program. Both are designed to maximise your post-high school success and help you get into your dream degree at 国民彩票.
Who is Gateway for?
The Gateway Admission Pathway is for students in Year 12 who attend a Gateway school or live in a low-socioeconomic area based on IRSAD or IEO indexes of .
Check your eligibility
To be eligible for the Gateway Admission Pathway, you must be:
- an Australian Permanent Resident, Australian Citizen, or New Zealand Citizen
- completing an Australian Year 12 qualification in the year of application
AND one of the following
- attend a Gateway school
- live in a low-socioeconomic area based on IRSAD and IEO indexes of听
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

You鈥檙e more than your ATAR
We鈥檝e lowered the 国民彩票 ATAR requirements on hundreds of 国民彩票 degrees, exclusively for you.
When you apply for the Gateway Admission Pathway, you鈥檒l select two degrees you鈥檇 like to be considered for. If you don鈥檛 receive an early offer, you may receive a conditional offer with a significantly reduced ATAR requirement.
What is an early offer?
An early offer secures your spot at 国民彩票 before you sit the HSC. As long as you complete your exams and attain an ATAR, you鈥檒l be offered a place in your chosen degree, regardless of your results.

What is a conditional offer?
A conditional offer means we鈥檒l assess your uni application based on your ATAR results. Our 国民彩票 ATAR requirements are significantly lower than the standard selection rank.
