Congratulations on completing your studies!

Graduation marks a significant milestone that acknowledges your hard work and dedication. Once you’ve completed your degree, we’ll email you important details about your conferral date and graduation ceremony, including how to confirm your attendance.

If you are unable to attend your allocated ceremony, it’s important that you let us know as soon as possible by updating your attendance status in my¹úÃñ²ÊƱ. By letting us know early, we can allocate another student to your ceremony.

If you are interested in attending a future ceremony, you can also fill out an expression of interest form for an upcoming ceremony period. While ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ will try to accommodate all requests, placement is not guaranteed.

  • Expressions of interest to return to a ceremony in March 2025 have now closed. You may consider returning to a later ceremony period.Ìý

  • Please to return to a graduation ceremony this August. Requests must be submitted no later than Friday 27th June 2025.Ìý

    Whilst ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ will endeavour to accommodate your submission, this cannot be guaranteed.

  • Expressions of interest to return to a ceremony in December 2025 will open in September 2025.

Not attending your graduation ceremony?

  • If you're unable to log in to my¹úÃñ²ÊƱ, follow these steps:

    1. Forgot your password?
      Go to the Ìýpage and enter your user ID. Then, click on ’Forgot password?’ to initiate the password recovery process.
    2. Still unable to log in?
      If you’re experiencing ongoing issues, reach out to the IT Service CentreÌýfor assistance.
    3. No longer have login access?
      If you can’t access my¹úÃñ²ÊƱ at all, email the Graduations Team at graduations@unsw.edu.au Ìýor visit The Nucleus: Student Hub at Kensington campus for support.
  • Follow these steps to change your attendance status:

    1. Ìýwith your credentials (you may need toÌý if it has expired).
    2. Go to ''Ìýunder theÌýMy Student ProfileÌýtab.
    3. Select 'Not Attending - Mail'Ìýfrom the dropdown menu to update your status.
  • When not attending your graduation ceremony, your testamur will be delivered to the mailing address registered on my¹úÃñ²ÊƱ at no cost, shortly after the ceremony date. To ensure timely and accurate delivery, please check and update your mailing address by navigating to 'Graduation Details'Ìýon my¹úÃñ²ÊƱ.

    • A testamur is the official certification of your completion of a degree, diploma, or certificate obtained from the University of New South Wales. It includes:

      • Signatures of the Chancellor, the President and Vice-Chancellor, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic and Student Life
      • The official seal of the University
      • Your name, award title, and date of award conferral.

      Majors are indicated; Minors do not appear on the testamur but are noted on the official academic transcript.

      Testamurs are presented during graduation ceremonies.

    • Delivery method

      • Within Australia: Testamurs are sent via Registered Post
      • Internationally: Testamurs are delivered by courier. Note that couriers do not deliver to overseas postal boxes, as items must be signed for upon delivery. You must also provide a contact telephone number at the delivery address.

      Testamurs will be mailed progressively after the graduation period concludes. Please allowÌý6-8 weeksÌýfor delivery from your graduation date.

      Requesting early release

      If you require your testamur for work purposes before your ceremony date, please emailÌýgraduations@unsw.edu.auÌýto request an early release of your documents.

      If you need to update your mailing preference after the deadline, contact the Graduations Team atÌýgraduations@unsw.edu.au.

    • You can if your testamur is lost or damaged.
