The weather in Australia is influenced by the strong jet stream to the South, warm waters off the East Coast, cold waters off the West Coast, and the moist and warm tropics to the North. In addition, there are remote influences such as El Ni帽o, the Indian Ocean, and the stratosphere above. There are a range of methods which could be used and scientific questions to be answered under a broader theme of how Australia鈥檚 weather is influenced by all these larger scale drivers.
